Position : Senior Mechanical Engineer

Location : Chennai, India



Requirements:

1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
2. Chartered engineer
3. Relevant postgraduate qualification, e.g. pipeline engineering, vibration  analysis, stress analysis, fracture mechanics, oil and gas engineering etc.

Job Description : 

1. Design Appraisal/Verification of Static Equipment/Piping Systems
2. Preparation of estimations for design appraisal/verification and related services.
3. Project management, planning, resourcing and execution of own workload, ensuring internal procedures are adhered to, contractual arrangements are sound, budgets are set/managed correctly, financial targets are satisfied and deliverables are issued in accordance with customer expectations.
4. Participate in client meetings, be able to demonstrate clear and concise communication skills
5. Professional guidance, mentoring and support to Junior Engineers and Peers.
