Job Designation : Techno - Functional Consultant


Job Location : Bangalore, Karnataka, India

Job Description :
Will be able to develop solutions from written specs or direct communications with the user;

Responding to users support calls;

Work in close relation with Applications Manager & the Functional Analysts to provide solutions and support;

Addressing improvement of operational efficiencies with respect to usage of the Baan applications;

Must have a good understanding of all functional areas of Baan / Infor ERP LN and knowledge of Baan Tools and SQL;

Prioritize, troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day production issues. Provide hands-on user training as needed;

Be the Baan techno-functional support lead for the assigned facility. Capability of working independently on issues;

Participate with users and facilitate business processes streamlining in Baan. 



Job Requirements :
Experience (6 to 7 years relevant) in the following areas as part of requirement for this role:

1. Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in client facing roles will be strong plus;
2. Excellent Baan technical programming and development skills with emphasis on Baan IV, Baan V and Infor ERP LN database design and analytical skills;
3. Strong at Customizations coding, architect/design solutions, unit testing, systems; testing. Build interfaces / integration with satellite applications to Baan, if required;
4. Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
5. Must demonstrate an ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a project/support oriented environment;
6. Expertise of Baan Tools;
7. Acts as a Technical resource for support of the end-users;
8. Extensive experience with Baan SQL, DALs, and User Exits;
9. Experience in working with an Implementation Team Structure;
10. Baan / Infor ERP LN Applications experience in relevant modules;
11. Unix scripting and Oracle Database knowledge a plus.
12. Role will be based out of the B&D office but there resource must also be open to travel (domestic & international) and being based from client site for extended durations if required.
13. Ability to work under pressure and in an environment with multiple clients.
14. You must have demonstrated stability in prior employment tenures. 
15. Candidates who have changed jobs frequently in recent years are generally ineligible to join the B&D team
16. Selected candidates must be able to join within a month or less. Candidates with longer contractual notice periods will only be considered if they can join in this time-frame.
17. Minimum Bachelors degree from a well-recognized college/ university.
